SBTi Approval in Our Sustainability Journey
Today, sustainability is not a preference but a strategic responsibility for companies. Combating climate change, protecting natural resources, and reducing environmental impacts form the basis of our way of doing business. In this direction, we adopt the long-term goal of making our operations more efficient, low-carbon, and compliant with international standards.

To align our sustainability efforts with scientific standards, we submitted our emission reduction targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for validation. SBTi has officially approved that our targets comply with science-based criteria.

Within the scope of our approved science-based targets;

As Çolakoğlu Makina, we commit to reducing our absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by

58.8% by 2034 compared to the 2023 base year; and to measuring and reducing our Scope 3 emissions.

Increasing energy efficiency, supporting the use of renewable energy, and adapting our processes to low-carbon technologies are of critical importance for achieving these targets.

We do not limit sustainability to our internal operations; together with our suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders, we prioritize creating a lower-carbon value chain. By implementing projects aimed at improving our environmental performance, we continue to enhance our production and operational processes.

We believe that every step we take toward a more sustainable future is an integral part of our corporate objectives. The approval given by SBTi is a strong indication of our commitment to climate responsibility. We will continue our efforts with determination for a low-carbon future
